I will be joining Newcastle University Business School as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2026. As an applied microeconomist, I work at the intersection of development, health, and behavioral economics. My research centers around two primary themes:
The effects of poor mental health and sleep on cognition, productivity and household dynamics
The behavioral and psychological mechanisms through which environmental stressors undermine people's health and economic wellbeing
I received my Ph.D. from Monash University in 2023 and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne's Department of Economics from 2023 to 2026.
